Deposits made through MobileCheck Deposit before 4:00 PM CST will be available the next business day.

One check can be deposited at a time.

Deposits may be made to deposit and savings accounts.

In general, you may deposit up to $500 per business day and up to $2,000 per rolling 30-day period using MobileCheck Deposit.

Text Banking (SMS)

With First State's Text Banking Service you can receive account information via text (SMS) message!

To enroll in SMS/Text, simply text “enroll FirstState” to 39257. A customer service representative will contact you, during business hours, to verify your enrollment. Once your text banking enrollment is completed, you can easily access and manage your account information with a few simple text commands.

BAL:balances on all enrolled accounts
BAL + last 4 digits: Example: BAL 3465 balance on specified account
HIST: last 5 transactions on all enrolled accounts
HIST + last 4 digits: Example: HIST 3465 last 5 transactions on specified account
XFER + last 4 digits of From account + last 4 digits of To account + Amount: Example: XFER 3465 8435 5.00 Transfer of funds between the two accounts and send you a confirmation # once completed.

Our Goal is to provide you with technology that makes us easy to do business with, but with all things safety and security issues can occur. Here are some tips to help keep you safe and secure:

  • Do not save your online banking password on your mobile device. 
  • Secure your mobile device with a password to prevent unauthorized access. 
  • Only download apps from trusted sources. 
  • Avoid using public, unsecured wifi connections on your mobile device. 
  • Utilize trusted anti-virus software for your mobile device. 
  • Utilize a remote-wipe app that would allow you to remotely wipe all data from your phone in the unfortunate even that your smartphone was lost or stolen. 

Text Banking security tips

Text messages will only be sent from First State through the short code 39257. 
First State will not ask you for personal information through text messaging. 
Notify First State if you lose your phone or change the mobile number connected to your text banking.
