Need to send money to a relative in another country or a child away at school? With years of experience in wire payments, First State can easily help you send a wire across the country or the ocean. For wires, you will need to supply your bank specialist with:
- Amount of the wire
- Name and physical address of the person to whom you are sending the wire (the beneficiary)
- Branch location, including the bank name, city and country
- Account number of the beneficiary
Your account will be debited for the amount of the wire or draft and a wire fee. Fees vary dependent on the wire amount and the country of the beneficiary. Contact us for current fee schedule information.
The wire transfer process is simple and easy. Just stop by your nearest First State Bank location and complete and sign the transfer request form. Requests received by 11:00a.m. can be sent the same day.
